Inspection of Kunal Icon Road Concrete Work by Nirmalatai Kute in Pimple Saudagar
Pimple Saudagar: Former Corporator Nirmalatai Kute visited Kunal Icon Road in Pimple Saudagar to review the ongoing concrete roadwork being carried out under the Smart City project.
Considering the heavy traffic volume and the rapidly growing population in the area, the concretization of this key road is expected to help resolve recurring congestion issues.
The project also includes stormwater lines on both sides, a new drainage network, service lines, footpaths, planned parking bays, upgraded bus stops, and landscaping features such as trees, streetlights, and seating benches.
During the visit, Nirmalatatai took note of complaints from residents regarding traffic management, safety issues, slow progress, and poor-quality work. She firmly instructed the administration and contractor to take corrective action and warned of strict measures if standards are not met. She also directed them to submit a weekly progress report.
Junior engineers, deputy engineers, consultants, contractors, municipal officials, and local residents were present during the inspection.
