With Strong Public Support, Sachin Subhash Ghule Gears Up for PMC Elections 2026 from Prabhag 41
Sachin Subhash Ghule, a seasoned political leader from Prabhag 41—Mohammadwadi–Undri, has announced his intention to contest the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections in 2026, drawing on more than two decades of grassroots political experience and strong local support.
Ghule began his public service journey in 2002 as Deputy Sarpanch of Undri Gram Panchayat, a role he held until 2007. During this period, he gained firsthand experience in rural administration and civic issues. In 2007, he contested the Panchayat Samiti elections, and a decade later, in 2017, he secured a decisive victory, winning by a margin of 1,900 votes. His leadership credentials were further strengthened when he served as Deputy Chairman of the Haveli Panchayat Samiti from 2018 to 2020.
Over the years, Ghule has earned respect across political circles and built a strong connection with residents of Undri, Holkarwadi, Mohammadwadi and surrounding villages. His work has focused on addressing everyday civic concerns while promoting inclusive development.
Among his notable initiatives are meetings with housing societies to resolve long-pending conveyance deed issues, as well as interactions with officials from the District Deputy Registrar’s office. Under the “Our Village, Our Development” initiative, Ghule engaged directly with Undri residents to understand local needs and priorities.

Infrastructure and safety have also featured prominently in his work. Speed breakers were installed near key junctions such as Amit Kolori and Ambekar Hotel Chowk to curb over-speeding. He also played a role in developing a Citizens’ Entertainment Centre near Atur Nagar Housing Society, providing a common recreational space for residents.

Ghule has actively encouraged community participation through sports and welfare activities, including cricket and football tournaments and Aadhaar card camps. He has also supported cultural events such as the Kalpataru Durga Puja.

With the PMC elections approaching, Ghule says he aims to replicate and expand this development-focused approach at the city level, seeking the continued support of Prabhag 41 residents.
