Mumbai, January 24, 2026: The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced temporary traffic blocks on the Hinduhriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Samruddhi Mahamarg (Samruddhi Expressway) from January 27 to January 31, 2026, for the installation of gantries under the Highway Traffic Management System.

According to an official press release issued by MSRDC, the gantry installation work will be carried out between Km 90+500 and Km 170+400 on the expressway, covering areas in Dhamangaon Railway, Chandur Railway, Nandgaon Khandeshwar (Amravati district) and Karanja (Lad), Washim district.

The work will be executed in 12 phases during this period. As part of the process, traffic on the concerned carriageway near the work zone will be completely halted for 45 to 60 minutes during each phase. Once work at a particular location is completed, traffic on that stretch will be restored.

MSRDC has stated that these temporary traffic stoppages are necessary to ensure safe installation of gantries and smooth implementation of the traffic management system. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, cooperate with traffic authorities, and follow on-site instructions during the affected dates and time slots.

The corporation has appealed to commuters to remain patient and use alternative planning to avoid inconvenience during the scheduled work period.
