In the footage, the employee, identified as Aastha Singh, is seen shouting at the customer and behaving aggressively. At one point, she allegedly threatens the man by forcefully pointing a laptop at him. The video also captures her purportedly saying, “I am a Thakur, don’t mess with me,” a statement that has drawn sharp criticism for its caste-based undertone.
The visuals have sparked strong reactions online, with many users condemning the employee’s conduct as unprofessional and unethical. Netizens have called the incident a violation of customer rights and banking service norms, demanding strict action from the bank.
