Citizens are advised to stay cautious during peak afternoon heat, stay hydrated, and farmers are urged to manage irrigation carefully as temperatures climb.
Statewide Weather Outlook: According to the IMD, most parts of Maharashtra will experience mainly dry, clear to partly cloudy conditions. The likelihood of rainfall is negligible. Morning fog or haze may be seen in some areas, while afternoons will bring noticeable heat.
Coastal Maharashtra: Regions including Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg will witness clear to partly cloudy skies. Maximum temperatures are expected between 28–30°C, with minimums around 24–25°C. Humidity will be high, but no rain is forecast. Morning fog is possible in Mumbai, while sea breezes along the coast will remain moderate.

Pune is likely to record highs of 32–34°C and lows of 15–17°C, with warm afternoons and moderately cool nights. Precautions and Advisory: The IMD has urged citizens to take precautions during the afternoon heat, increase water intake, and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Farmers should ensure adequate irrigation as rising temperatures may stress Rabi crops. Over the next few days, temperatures are expected to climb further, signaling the early onset of summer conditions in Maharashtra.
