The Central Board of Secondary Education has officially released the Class 10 Board Examination Results for 2026, bringing relief and excitement to millions of students across the country. With a pass percentage of 93.70%, this year has seen a slight improvement compared to last year’s 93.66%, continuing the trend of strong academic performance.
Students who appeared for the exams can now access their scorecards through multiple official platforms, including cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. To make the process more convenient, results are also available on digital platforms like DigiLocker and the UMANG app.
How to Check CBSE Class 10 Result 2026
Candidates can view their results online by visiting any of the official CBSE websites. Additionally, for those who prefer offline access, CBSE has enabled an SMS facility. Students need to type cbse10 followed by their Roll Number, School Number, and Centre Number, and send it to 7738299899 to receive their results directly on their mobile phones.
Exam Details and Participation
The CBSE Class 10 board exams for 2026 were conducted between February 17 and March 6, with some reports indicating the process extended till March 11. Exams were held in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM across all days.
This year witnessed participation from a massive 25,08,319 students, including 14,08,546 boys and 10,99,773 girls. The examinations covered 83 subjects and were organized across 8,075 centres nationwide.
Regional Performance Trends
Continuing previous trends, students from southern regions of India have once again demonstrated strong academic outcomes, contributing significantly to the overall high pass percentage.
Two-Exam System Introduced
In a major step towards reducing academic pressure, CBSE has implemented a dual-exam system for Class 10 students this year. This initiative allows students to appear for the board exams twice and retain their best score, helping reduce the burden of a single high-stakes examination.
