10 Newly Elected MLCs Take Oath In Maharashtra Legislative Council
Mumbai, May 14, 2026: Prof. Ram Shinde on Wednesday administered the oath of office to 10 newly elected members of the Maharashtra Legislative Council during a ceremony held at the Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai.
The oath-taking ceremony took place in the Central Hall of the Legislature and was attended by several senior political leaders and ministers.
Among those present were Rahul Narwekar, Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Ajit Pawar, Assembly Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant Patil, Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai, and MLA Ravindra Chavan.
The newly sworn-in members include:

- Dr. Pragya Satav
- Pramod Jathar
- Zeeshan Siddique
- Madhavi Naik
- Sunil Karjatkar
- Vivek Kolhe

Following the oath ceremony, Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde welcomed all the newly elected members by presenting them with bouquets.
