Pune Police Move Court To Seek Cancellation Of Vishal Agarwal’s Bail In Kalyani Nagar Porsche Crash Case
Pune, June 20, 2026: Pune Police will approach the Sessions Court on June 23 seeking the cancellation of the bail granted to builder Vishal Agarwal in the high-profile Kalyani Nagar Porsche crash case. The move follows the circulation of an alleged video on social media showing Agarwal and his family celebrating after his release on bail.
Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed that an application for cancellation of bail would be filed before the court, citing alleged violations of the conditions imposed by the Supreme Court while granting relief to Agarwal.

The case relates to the fatal Porsche crash in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area, in which a speeding luxury car allegedly driven by a minor rammed into a two-wheeler, resulting in the deaths of two young professionals.
During the investigation, police alleged that efforts were made to manipulate evidence, including the replacement of blood samples of the accused minor. Investigators claimed that Vishal Agarwal and others had conspired with individuals at Sassoon General Hospital to tamper with the evidence, leading to his arrest.
Although the Supreme Court later granted Agarwal bail subject to strict conditions, police have now raised objections over a video that allegedly surfaced on social media showing celebrations by Agarwal and his family following the bail order.
According to Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, statements of individuals linked to the video have been recorded, and digital evidence has been collected. The police intend to place these materials before the court and argue that the conduct amounts to a violation of the bail conditions imposed by the Supreme Court.
Agarwal, however, has reportedly denied the allegations, claiming that the video in question dates back to 2023 and is unrelated to his recent release on bail. He has maintained that no celebration took place following the Supreme Court’s order.
Police, on the other hand, contend that sharing or circulating such content on social media is insensitive and has hurt the sentiments of the families of the two victims who lost their lives in the crash.
The Sessions Court is expected to hear the police application after it is formally filed on June 23.
