MHT CET 2024 Registration Opens: Key Dates and Details
Pune: State Common Entrance Examination Cell Set To Hold Entrance Exam for BBA, BMS, BCA from May 27
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell
commenced registrations for two groups – physics, chemistry, and maths (PCM), and physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB) from January 16.
The deadline for MHT CET 2024 registration for both PCB and PCM groups is March 1. Aspiring candidates can access the application form link on cetcell.mahacet.org.
The MHT CET 2024 schedule outlines that the PCB group exam is scheduled from April 16 to 23, while the PCM group exam will take place between April 25 and 30.
The question paper for MHT CET 2024 will be based on the syllabus of the State Council Of Educational Research And Training, Maharashtra, with approximately 20% weightage given to the Class 11 curriculum and 80% to the Class 12 curriculum.
Notably, there will be no negative marking, and the difficulty level will be comparable to JEE (Main) for mathematics, physics, and chemistry, while for biology, it will align with NEET. The MHT CET will consist of three question papers, each comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each paper carrying a total of 100 marks.
Aspiring candidates are encouraged to complete the registration process within the specified timeframe.
