14-year-old girl from Amanora Park Town in Hadapsar tragically ends her life; preliminary investigation points to family disagreement.
A 14-year-old girl tragically died after jumping from the 13th floor of a high-rise in the upscale Amanora Park Town in Hadapsar on Wednesday afternoon. The girl, a Class 8 student, lived with her family at the Amanora Trendy Tower, police officials reported.
According to the police, the incident occurred while the girl was with her mother, younger brother and cousin in the afternoon. A preliminary investigation revealed that the girl’s mother had asked her to move to the hall to study so she could sleep in the bedroom. Upset by this, the girl jumped from the lobby area on the 13th floor, resulting in her instant death.
Upon receiving the distressing information, a team from the Hadapsar police station promptly arrived at the scene. The girl’s body was transported to a hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Hadapsar police station, and an investigation is ongoing to confirm the precise cause of death.
