Now, you can use upto 20 songs in one reel on Instagram
Instagram has launched an update for its platform, introducing multi-audio tracks support for Reels. This new feature allows users to incorporate more than one audio track into their Reels, enhancing the creative possibilities for content creators worldwide. The update is currently being rolled out globally, with India already experiencing its benefits.
According to Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram, users can now add up to 20 audio tracks to a single reel starting today. This enhancement aims to provide creators with greater flexibility in aligning audio with text, stickers, and clips during the editing process within Instagram. Moreover, users can create their own unique audio mixes, which can be saved and reused by their followers.
Instagram emphasizes that with this new feature, users have the option to label their audio mixes as their own, ensuring proper attribution. To access the feature, users need to update their Instagram app to the latest version and open the video editor. From there, they can select the “add to mix” option and choose the specific tracks they wish to blend. Additionally, users can designate specific sections of each track for inclusion in their audio mix.
Once created and published, these unique audio mixes can be utilized by other users in their own videos, further enhancing collaborative content creation on the platform. Instagram encourages its users to update their app and explore the new multi-audio tracks feature to enrich their Reels with diverse audio experiences.
This update marks another step by Instagram to empower its community of creators with enhanced tools for content creation and sharing.
