Aamir Khan Introduces Gauri Spratt as His Partner on His 60th Birthday
Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan celebrated his 60th birthday with a special family dinner, where he introduced his partner, Gauri Spratt, to the media.
During a pre-birthday event on March 13 in Mumbai, Aamir shared that he has known Gauri for 25 years and that they have been in a relationship for the past 18 months. Gauri Spratt, an entrepreneur based in Bengaluru, is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who runs a salon in the city.
Gauri pursued her education at Blue Mountain School and later completed a course in FDA Styling & Photography at the University of the Arts, London, in 2004. According to her LinkedIn profile, she currently manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai. Reports also suggest that she has a six-year-old child.
Prior to Aamir’s revelation, speculation was rife about his relationship with someone outside the film industry. Recently, Aamir introduced Gauri to his children, family, and close friends, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. On March 12, both actors visited his home to meet her.
Speaking about maintaining privacy in his personal life, Aamir told the media, “Mere ghar pe focus thoda kam hai. Aap log miss kar dete ho.” (The focus is less on my home. You guys miss things.)
Gauri is said to have Tamil and Irish heritage, and reports suggest that her grandfather was involved in the freedom struggle.
Fans were surprised by the announcement, as few expected Aamir to reveal such a personal detail just before his milestone birthday.
