AAP Pune Celebrates Successful Landing of Chandrayaan 3 on Moon
On 23rd August, India witnessed one of the most historic & proudest moments with the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft on moon. To celebrate this historic moment, several members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Pune gathered on Kalakaar Katta at Goodluck Chowk in Pune.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Dr Abhijit More, AAP Pune Vice President, said “Today is indeed the happiest and proudest moment for all Indians as Chandrayaan 3 has created history by becoming the first spacecraft to do soft landing on the South Pole of moon. ISRO has successfully completed the mission in very less expenditure. Every Indian is very proud of every scientist of ISRO. On behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party, we are celebrating this historic moment here. AAP wishes All the Best to ISRO.”
Hundreds of AAP party workers & ministers had gathered to celebrate this historic moment. Slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, ‘Vande Mataram’ etc were chanted continuously.
Shamim Hasim Khan Pathan, Vice President, Mahila Samiti Wing, AAP Pune, shared her feelings “We are extremely proud of all the scientists & workers of ISRO as India became the first country to soft land Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft successfully on the south pole. India will remember this day for a long time.”
Along with AAP Party, many women police officers also joined the celebration by holding the tricolor high.
