At the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024, Aishwarya Rai’s daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, demonstrated her love and support for her mother in a touching gesture. As Aishwarya stepped off the stage after receiving the Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics) award for her performance in Ponniyin Selvan directed by Mani Ratnam, Aaradhya ran towards her and embraced her tightly. The emotional moment was captured in a video that has since gone viral.
Aishwarya and Aaradhya later interacted with Kannada cinema legend Shiva Rajkumar. Aaradhya, with folded hands, greeted him and respectfully touched his feet to receive his blessings.
