Pune, Maharashtra:
City’s Vesavar Art Gallery has opened yet another captivating exhibition. Titled “Abhiman”, the group show features works of four exceptional artists – Asmita Shah, Amit Bankar, Swastik Jawalekar, and Manoj Darekar. The exhibition will be on display from Monday to Sunday till January 26.

“Abhiman” is an immersive journey into the realms of diverse artistic expressions. The exhibition features a fusion of contemporary styles, each artist contributing a unique narrative to the collective canvas of emotions.

The collection of paintings by Pune-based artist, Asmita Shah, draws inspiration from African tribes and ancient Khajuraho sculptures. Her vibrant 3D art style boldly expresses the true essence of love, also exploring Ancient Indian God and Goddess stories through her captivating paintings.

Artist Amit Bankar hails from Chakan near Pune. His paintings delve into the struggle and competition of daily life, reflecting the subconscious mind’s constant striving and pursuit of something beyond the visible horizon.

A graduate of Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay, Pune, artist Swastik Jawalekar, transcends mediums, styles, and concepts. Rural elements like cows, birds, and village life populate his creations, inviting viewers to reflect on the essence of the past, present, and future.

With a Master’s in Fine Arts from Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Fine Arts, Pune, artist Manoj Darekar, uses acrylic on canvas to engage in ongoing dialogues on psychology. His unique exploration of pareidolia, finding faces in objects and places, creates a language of emotional engagement, offering viewers a glimpse into his world.

This group show is not just an exhibition; but a symphony of voices, a celebration of love, struggle, simplicity, and the intricacies of the human psyche. The founders at Vesavar Art Gallery, Kavita Bhandari and Pranali Harpude invite art enthusiasts to explore this mesmerizing collection, where each stroke tells a story and each canvas holds a universe of emotions waiting to be discovered.
