Activities aplenty to mark Nana Kate’s birthday

Youth leader Parth Pawar took the lead to celebrate the former opposition leader’s birthday

Various social activities were organised on the occasion of the birthday of former opposition leader corporator Vitthal alias Nana Kate on 15th August.
On this occasion, various programmes like blood donation camp, health camp, felicitation of meritorious students, free health card distribution camp was organized.

Vitthal alias Nana Kate hoisted the flag on the occasion of Independence day in various societies such as Roseland Society, Alcove Society, Vasant Avenue, Prime Plus Society, The Crest, Rajveer Palace, Dwarka Queen’s Park and Kingston Avenue.

A blood donation camp was organised on behalf of Nana Kate Social Foundation and corporator Shitaltai Nana Kate to mark the birthday, in which 127 donors donated blood at Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital Pimpri and Dr. D.Y.
A blood donation camp was organized on behalf of Patil Hospital Pimpri.
Also, a free health card camp was organised for the residents of Pimple Saudagar, Rahatani, Thergaon, Ravet, Kiwale, Kalewadi areas.
The said health card camp was organised by youth leaders Umesh Kate, Sagar Khandusheth Kokane, Prashant Sapkal, Kamesh Taras, Prasad Taras, Sachin Kale.

On this occasion, NCP Youth Leader Parthadada Ajitdada Pawar, DYSP, Triple Maharashtra Kesari Narsingh Yadav, NCP Student Congress State President Sunil Gavane, NCP Senior Leader Hanumantabhau Gawde, NCP City President Ajitbhau Gavane and Women City President Kavita Alhat wished Vitthal alias Nana Kate.

The events saw the presence of many eminent personalities from different sectors.
