According to Mumbai Police, the 59-year-old actor was injured when his licensed revolver misfired while he was cleaning it, causing a bullet to strike his knee.
The incident occurred around 4:45 am when Govinda was preparing to leave home and inspecting his revolver. The actor was immediately taken to Criti Care Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Sources indicate that Govinda is out of danger and recovering from the injury.
