LPG Price Hike: Commercial Cylinder Rates Increased by Rs 48.5; 5 kg Cylinder Sees Rs 12 Rise
Oil marketing companies have revised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders, with the new rates coming into effect from Tuesday, October 1. The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased by Rs 48.50.
As a result, a 19 kg LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,740, up from Rs 1,691.50, in Delhi. Additionally, the price of 5 kg Free Trade LPG cylinders has risen by Rs 12.
This latest hike comes just days before the start of the festive season.
The previous increase in commercial LPG cylinder prices occurred on September 1, when oil companies raised the cost of a 19 kg cylinder by Rs 39. This followed a price cut on July 1, where the price was reduced by Rs 30 to provide relief to businesses and commercial establishments.
