Ajit Pawar on Republic Day in Pune : Emphasize on boosting agri, infra and more

Maharashtra Deputy CM & Pune Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar was speaking at Pune Police Ground on the occasion of 75th Republic Day celebrations held on 26 January. He emphasized on boosting various sectors like employment, agriculture, infrastructure, education, health etc.

As per further information from the X handle of Ajit Pawar “Today, on the occasion of Republic Day, I address the audience at the police ground in Pune. On this occasion, I asserted that besides promoting the development of many sectors such as agriculture, industry, trade, employment, self-employment, tourism, education, health in Pune district, it is the resolution of the overall development of the district through the creation of infrastructure facilities.”

The tweet further continues “Pune district is a rapidly urbanizing district. Development is being promoted in a big way through roads, metro lines, railway lines in the district. The work of Khopoli to Khandala missing link is in the final stage. Various development works have been started for proper planning of traffic in the city. Citizens should cooperate for these works.”

The tweet further says “Pune city is known as the educational and cultural capital. A large amount of funds has been given for the development of forts, historical places, Ashtavinayaks, pilgrimage sites, national monuments etc in the district. An inspiring monument displaying the work of Dnyanjyoti Savitribai Phule will be constructed at Bhidewada.”

The tweet further continues “Various government schemes are being implemented effectively for the development of the district. Financial benefits are given to farmers through Pradhan Mantri Shetkari Samman Nidhi Yojana. The state government has started the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Yojana’, the farmer families will get an annual benefit of Rs 12,000. Emphasis is placed on Chief Minister’s Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana to provide electricity to farmers during the day. Emphasis is being laid on the development of power substations and power channels in the district. An annual plan of Rs 948 crore for the general district annual plan has been submitted to the state committee and an additional demand of Rs 400 crore has also been made.”

The tweet concluded “At the national level, Pune district has performed best at the national level for the second time in a row in Swachh Survekshan 2023 under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. It is a matter of pride for the district. Citizens should try to keep the city and district clean by maintaining this performance. As a responsible citizen, the contribution of every person in the progress of the state is important and for that everyone should play a more active role in the future. On the occasion of the program, I appealed to everyone to make a united effort to strengthen the country’s democracy.”
