The state government has instructed to continue the facilities and facilities of Phursungi and Uruli Devachi until the decision of an independent Municipal Corporation of these 2 areas is finalized. Shiv Sena’s Upazila Chief Amol Harpale gave a statement to Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar about this.

The Shiv Sena has said that the budget is not being made available by classification despite providing support for the past several months. Water is a major problem. A new scheme has been made for these villages through Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran (MJP). However, since it is still not functioning at full capacity and the Pune municipal corporation has no control over it, water supply is not smooth.

New storage tanks are being constructed. However, their work is still not complete.

Budget is not made available by classification despite last several months of support. As a result, the development works in both these villages have come to a standstill. Therefore, Shiv Sena (UBT) has warned that if funds are not provided to both the villages, they will protest against the waste depot of Phursungi, Uruli Devachi from March 1.

For Phursungi and Uruli Devachi, budget should be made available immediately through classification, development works suggested by citizens should be given administrative approval and work orders should be placed before the code of conduct. Substantial provision should be made in the budget for both these villages for the financial year 2024-25. It is said in the statement that it should be reported by 27th February, otherwise we will protest against the garbage depot of Phursungi, Uruli Devachi from 1st March.
