An Amazon customer recently shared a bizarre experience where the e-commerce giant delivered a pressure cooker nearly two years after he had canceled the order. The customer, Jay, took to X (formerly Twitter) to recount the incident, leaving social media users both amused and puzzled.

According to Jay, he originally placed the order on October 1, 2022, but soon canceled it and received a refund. The story took a surprising turn when the pressure cooker finally arrived at his doorstep on August 28, 2024—almost two years later.

“Thank you, Amazon, for delivering my order after two years. The cook is thrilled after the long wait; it must be a very special pressure cooker,” Jay wrote in his now-viral post.

The internet quickly erupted with jokes and witty comments. Some quipped that the pressure cooker was “made on Mars,” while others joked that Amazon must have been “cooking it for real.”

One user humorously remarked, “Must be handcrafted by very skilled craftsmen.” Another added, “Wow, Amazon delivered your order after just two years! Who knew patience was part of their customer service policy?”

Amid the laughter, Amazon responded to Jay’s post, saying, “Hi there, we’re sorry to hear this. Kindly report this to our support team.” Jay was quick to point out the irony, replying, “Report what? The order was canceled and refunded in 2022. It just showed up yesterday—how do I pay for it now?”

The incident has become a viral sensation, showcasing that in a fast-paced world, patience—or a good sense of humor—can lead to some unexpected surprises.
