Ambulance carrying trainee doctors for Garba in Kolhapur hits a biker leaving him severely injured

Pune: Navratri has created an atmosphere of excitement everywhere. People are seen enjoying Garba and Dandiya. 

However, against this backdrop, an ambulance designed to respond to medical emergencies was repurposed as a tool for the Garba celebration in Kolhapur. 

The ambulance had its sirens blazing hinting at an emergency. The ambulance hit a bike. As soon as people gathered around, it was revealed that the ambulance  was being used to carry medical trainees for Garba celebrations.

 The video, which has gone viral on social media platforms, shows the vehicle crowded with several medical trainees all decked up to celebrate Garba. The ambulance did not have any patients.

As per the information, some trainee doctors who are undergoing medical training were going to play Garba in an ambulance. Interestingly, they also kept the siren on to prevent the car from getting stuck in traffic. But while speeding, the ambulance hit a bike. 

The accident caused a huge number of people to gather at the spot enquiring about the patient. However, they found out that the occupants were trainee doctors and were going to play Garba. Meanwhile, the gathered people recorded the video of the youth in the ambulance and now this video is going viral on the internet.

The video shared from a Twitter handle has been viewed by more than 2 lakh 44 thousand netizens so far and has gathered mixed reactions to it. According to some people, strict action should be taken against these youths because they misused the ambulance. According to some, travelling in an ambulance is not a crime.
