Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, is set to marry Radhika Merchant in a grand ceremony in Mumbai on July 12, as reported by the news agency.

The wedding will follow traditional Hindu Vedic rituals at the Jio World Convention Centre in the city’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).

The wedding festivities in Mumbai will span three days, starting on Friday, July 12, with the main wedding function, Shubh Vivah. This will be followed by the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on Saturday, July 13, and a grand wedding reception on Sunday, July 14.

The save-the-date card reads, “With the blessings of Smt Kokilaben and Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Smt. Purnimaben and Shri Ravindrabhai Dalal, we are delighted to invite you to celebrate the union of our son Anant and Radhika. A formal invite will follow soon.”

European Pre-Wedding Celebrations

Nita and Mukesh Ambani are hosting a four-day pre-wedding celebration for the couple on a luxury cruise ship in Europe. The event has attracted a host of Bollywood stars and other VIP guests, including MS Dhoni. Celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ananya Panday, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, and Karan Johar are among the attendees. The iconic American band Backstreet Boys reportedly performed for the guests on board the ship on Wednesday.

In March, the Ambanis had already hosted a lavish pre-wedding celebration for Anant and Radhika in Gujarat’s Jamnagar.

Dress Code for the Wedding Festivities

Guests have been asked to adhere to specific dress codes for the various events. For the main wedding function on July 12, the attire is Indian traditional wear. The Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on July 13 will require Indian formals. The wedding reception on July 14 will have a theme of “Indian chic.”

As the Ambanis prepare for this grand celebration, the blend of traditional and modern festivities promises an unforgettable event for all attendees.
