Vantara has entered the food and beverage segment with the launch of Vantara Creamery, an artisanal ice cream brand featuring 17 flavours inspired by Indian tastes, nostalgia and regional ingredients.

Vantara, the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation initiative led by Anant Ambani, has expanded into the food and lifestyle space with the launch of a new artisanal ice cream brand called Vantara Creamery.

The premium ice cream venture recently made its debut at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive through a specially designed ice cream truck experience that attracted visitors with handcrafted flavours and locally inspired ingredients.

The brand served customers on May 9 and 10 and is scheduled to return on May 16 and 17, 2026, offering more visitors a chance to try its signature flavours.

Vantara Creamery has launched with a menu of 17 flavours that blend traditional Indian favourites with modern twists. Among the most talked-about options are Malai Kulfi, Guava Chilli, Filter Coffee and Lemon Sorbet.

The brand says the flavours are designed around nostalgia, regional tastes and small-batch craftsmanship, positioning the creamery in the growing premium artisanal dessert market.

One of the major highlights drawing attention online is the reported use of A2 Gir cow milk, known for its rich texture and creamy taste. The use of premium dairy ingredients, combined with Indian-inspired flavours, appears aimed at consumers looking for both indulgence and authenticity.

The launch also reflects the growing trend of luxury and lifestyle brands experimenting with regional Indian flavours in modern formats, especially in the premium dessert segment.

Vantara is primarily known for its large-scale wildlife rescue and rehabilitation project located within the Reliance Jamnagar Refinery Complex in Gujarat. Spread across nearly 3,000 acres, the initiative focuses on rescuing and caring for injured, abused and captive animals with support from the Reliance Foundation.

With the entry of Vantara Creamery into the food and beverage space, the brand is now extending its identity beyond conservation into lifestyle-driven consumer experiences.

The artisanal ice cream market in India has witnessed rapid growth in recent years, especially in metro cities where customers are increasingly experimenting with handcrafted desserts, regional flavours and premium dairy products.
