Anti-extortion cell of Pimpri Chinchwad Police apprehend four notorious criminals; five pistols, 10 bullets seized

Pune: The anti-extortion cell of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police has apprehended four individuals and confiscated five pistols and 10 bullets from their possession.
As per the information provided, the arrested accused have been identified as Aslam Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Thergaon, Pune; Sachin Uttam Mahajan, from Surwad, Tal. Indapur, Dist. Pune; Santosh Vinayak Natu, a resident of Swargate, Pune; and Rahul a.k.a. Khandu Ganpat Dhawale, from Pimpalgaon Taluka Daund District.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Arvind Pawar, Police Inspector, Mhalunge Police Station added, ”An FIR has been registered against Sachin Mahajan under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) and the police have also registered a case against Santosh Natu in Pune city. Other accused have been booked under several sections of the IPC.”

The apprehension of the accused was carried out by a team, including Arvind Pawar, Police Inspector, Assistant Inspector Uddhav Khade, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramesh Gaikwad, Amar Raut, Anti-Extortion Cell, Nishant Kale, and Ganesh Girigosavi. Vijay Nalge, Sunil Kangude, Kiran Katkar, Pradeep Godambe, Ashish Botke, Ramesh Bhavaskar, Pradeep Gaikwad, Shailesh Magar, Chandrakant Jadhav, Dnyaneshwar Kurhade, Sudhir Dolas, Pradeep Gutte, and Bharat Gade.
