Artistic Tribute: Pune Artists Craft a Majestic 100-Feet Image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from Craft Paper

Pune, June 06: City artists Uddesh Paghal and Rutuja Ghule have created a 100 foot big image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Amanora Mall at Hadapsar to commemorate 349 anniversary of the Coronation ceremony. 

Conceptualized by NCP MLA Chetan Tupe and City Corporation MD Aniruddha Deshpande, this beautiful image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is made with the use of 50000 (fifty thousand) pieces of craft paper and both the artists took about 12 hours to complete it, informed Rupesh Tupe, Shivsamrajya Pratishthan, which undertook this initiative. Craft papers of 4 inch by 4 inch were used to create the image.

Citizens of Pune can see this first of kind massive image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj made from the use of paper at the Amanora Mall at Hadapsar till June Thursday, 8th.
