PUNE: In a significant breakthrough, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has intercepted a car utilized by the apprehended terror suspects in Pune. The vehicle, believed to have been employed for the suspects’ travel activities, was confiscated from Kondhwa on Saturday. During a meticulous examination of the car, the ATS team uncovered a cache of weapons.

The ATS operation resulted in the arrest of Mohammad Imran Mohammad Yunus Khan (23) and Mohammad Yunus Mohammad Yakub Saki (24) from Kothrud. Subsequent investigations unveiled a chilling plot: the duo had allegedly orchestrated plans for explosive attacks within the forests of Pune, Satara, and Kolhapur.

Moreover, the investigative team stumbled upon a stockpile of explosives and recovered approximately 500 gigabytes of data from the suspects’ possession. Following thorough inquiry and analysis, the authorities took three more individuals into custody, intensifying their efforts to dismantle the potential terror network.
