Bharati Vidyapeeth Rabindranath Tagore School of Excellence (BVRTSE), a premiere Cambridge International School in Pune is all set to host its first TED Ed event on Saturday, 2nd September 2023.

The school believes that children and ideas have the power to change attitudes, lives, and the world and therefore TED serves as an apposite platform to spread the thought-provoking ideas of its students.

Nine students from grades 9, 10 and 11 will take the centre stage to inspire the world through their stimulating words. The participants will speak on diverse topics ranging from the importance of music, effective communication and the power of resilience to teenage depression, battling nervousness and keeping financial scammers at bay.

It is a perfect platform for the young change makers to vocalise their thoughts about pertinent issues that require attention.

TED is a nonprofit organisation devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks, often called “TED talks.” TED-Ed is its youth and education initiative. TED-Ed’s mission is to spark and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students around the world.

The event will be graced by the presence of Ms Swapnali Vishawajeeet Kadam, the school’s chairperson; Mr Dhaval Mehta, the Co-founder of TNI career counselling; and Ms Esther Indurkar, a veteran communication coach, corporate trainer and a TED- Ex speaker.
