Idol of Lord Ram will be installed in Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. This will be celebrated with enthusiasm across the country. Hence, January 22 has been declared a public holiday in Maharashtra too similar to other states.

The general administration department of the state government officially release a notification about the holiday. Many of the BJP ruled states including Chhattisgarh, Goa, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have announced a public holiday on January 22 and today, even the Maharashtra government issued a circular about the holiday.

Grand celebrations have been planned at the temple located in Ayodhya on January 22. Similarly, there are various organisations, and housing societies too holding various programmes to celebrate the auspicious occassion. This news is indeed very overwhelming for many across the globe.
