Hence, the BJP has staged this protest.”

More than 500 people were present during the protest.

Ghate further added “Pune is known as the City of Education & Knowledge. Several students from various parts of the world come to Pune to study. We always welcome them. However, under the name of education & study, if anyone is trying to be a goon, the BJP & Bharatiya Janata Yuva Manch will take appropriate action.”

Dheeraj Ghate further appealed the Pune University security administration to strengthen its inspections in the University. He further raised questions about the functioning & effective use of CCTV cameras in the University premises.

Ghate further demanded strict action against the people responsible for the wall paintings in the University premises. He also appealed to the University to submit the CCTV footage, of the cameras in the area where this was done, to the Police for finding out the persons responsible.
