Celebrity couple Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar’s son Zehaan celebrated his first birthday with a jungle-themed bash. However, the festivities took an unexpected turn when the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) intervened.

According to a report, BMC officials demolished the entrance of the birthday bash, which extended onto the footpath outside the hotel where the celebration was held.

Key Points

• BMC officials dismantled the entrance gate, citing obstruction of footpath

• Despite the incident, the celebration went on with family and friends present

The BMC officials raised objections to the gate of the jungle-themed bash encroaching onto the footpath and instructed the hotel staff to remove it. When the staff failed to comply, the officials took matters into their own hands, demolishing the gate and hauling it away in their tempo.

Despite the interruption, the birthday bash saw the attendance of several renowned TV actors, including Debina Bonnerjee, Pankhuri Awasthy, Vinny Arora, and Mahi Vij, who brought their children along. Hina Khan was also spotted at the event. Gauahar and Zaid, dressed in coordinated black outfits, greeted the paparazzi outside the hotel during the celebration.

Earlier this year, Gauahar and Zaid shared the first glimpse of their son Zehaan’s face on social media, expressing their gratitude and requesting continued positivity, love, and blessings for him. Recently, the couple embarked on a journey to Mecca to perform Umrah.
