Boney Kapoor praises Ajay Devgn, affirms long careers for Khan trio

Producer Boney Kapoor recently shared insights into the longevity of Bollywood superstars while praising actor Ajay Devgn’s versatility. In an interview with news agency PTI, Kapoor highlighted that stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan are poised to enjoy enduring careers, but he singled out Ajay Devgn for his exceptional talent.

Kapoor emphasized that a superstar’s presence doesn’t guarantee box office success, noting that the ultimate outcome relies on the film’s content and execution. He acknowledged the influence of various distribution channels beyond theatrical releases, such as OTT platforms and satellite rights. Despite this, he credited Ajay Devgn for his consistent ability to deliver remarkable performances across diverse roles, likening his potential to that of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Reflecting on Devgn’s versatility, Kapoor remarked, “Ajay stands out… He has done all types of film. He can mould himself to any character which means he can walk with laurels at any party because he gives his all.” He also commended Anil Kapoor for his enduring career in the industry.

Boney Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of his period sports drama “Maidaan,” starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role.
