Central Railway adds 10 trains from Pune and Mumbai to clear extra rush of passengers

Pune: The Central Railways has added 10 special trains on Mumbai & Pune routes to clear extra rush of passengers. 

As per information shared by Dr Shivraj Manaspure, Chief PRO, Central Railways, apart from regular mail express trains, from November 15, the Central Railways (CR) is running 10 pairs of festival special trains to clear extra rush of passengers. The 10 trains are:

· 01409 LTT Danapur exp

· 01485 CSMT Danapur exp

· 01061 CSMT Danapur exp

· 01025 Dadar Ballia exp

· 01419 Pune Danapur exp

· 01109 Pune Danapur exp

· 01057 Pune Danapur exp

· 01129 LTT Thivim exp

· 01127 Dadar Ballarshah exp

· 01436 LTT Solapur exp

This calculated action seeks to reduce the extra passenger traffic during the holiday season.

For a seamless travel experience, commuters are advised to review the schedule and make the required preparations.

Apart from Pune & Mumbai, passengers from several other areas in the country keep travelling by trains during Diwali

Hence, the Central Railways had decided to run 9 additional Puja/Diwali/Chhath festival specials between Nagpur-Mumbai, CSMT-Danapur and Durgapura (Jaipur) – Daund to clear the extra rush of passengers.
