Chandni Chowk flyover to open for commuters this weekend

Pune: The much anticipated Kothrud-NDA Chowk (Chandni Chowk) flyover is all set to open for the commuters this weekend. As per information, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the flyover on August 12. After the inauguration of the flyover, it will be opened for traffic in just six days, and the citizens will be freed from the morning and evening traffic jams on the highways and service roads.
Meanwhile, the work on the bridge is in its final stages, and the asphalting of the two lanes is in its final stages. The flyover connecting Kothrud, Mulshi, and Bavdhan will definitely be useful for motorists. The widening of the flyover has made the bridge magnificent.
The bridge has been equipped for traffic with black-and-white strips. Now, the vehicles going from Kothrud to Bavdhan and from Pashan-Bavdhan to NDA will not have to travel a long distance to reach the desired destination.
Pune Pulse spoke to the National Highway Authority of India who confirmed the opening of Chandani chowk flyover to be opened for public on August 12.
