Chatushrungi Temple in Pune Closes VIP Darshan for Navratri, Expects One Lakh Devotees
The Chatushrungi Temple in Pune will remain open 24 hours during Navratri this year, expecting around one lakh devotees to visit. The temple has undergone extensive renovation and beautification, with works costing Rs 2 crore completed this year. The remaining construction will be finalized in the next eight months.
In a significant move, the temple trustees have decided to close VIP darshan during the Navratri festival to ensure a smoother experience for all visitors. Additionally, an insurance policy of Rs 2 crore has been taken for the entire year, covering the safety of pilgrims and temple premises.
The trustees of the temple have announced that VIP darshan will be closed during the Navratri festival this year at the famous Chatushrungi temple in Pune. Navratri related works have been completed and the temple will remain open for devotees for 24 hours during Navratri. The restoration work of the temple has been done this year by spending two crore rupees and the rest of the construction and beautification of the premises will be completed in the next eight months.
“During Navratri, one million devotees are expected to visit the temple and an insurance of two crores has been taken for the entire year including the pilgrimage of the devotees” said President of the Temple Trust and the Executive Trustee
The temple trust expressed its commitment to welcoming devotees and ensuring a seamless and devotional atmosphere throughout the festival.
