Check details of parking & directions for vehicles Cricket World Cup Match on October 30 at Gahunje Stadium

Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police have announced directions/route for cricket lovers coming from Mumbai & Pune for ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Match between Afghanistan & Sri Lanka on 30 October (Monday).

As per further information from Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police, for World Cup Cricket Tournament 2023, the parking arrangements and routes for four-wheelers and two-wheelers for spectators coming to watch the Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka match on 30/10/2023 have been determined as follows:

1) The route for spectator vehicles coming from Mumbai is as follows:

a) Take a left turn from the Dehuroad exit of the expressway followed by an immediate left turn.

Turn around and take the service road on the side of Mamurdi Gaon adjacent to the express

highway leading to the stadium and the parking lot.

b) Vehicles coming from the Expressway should take a U-turn from Kiwale Bridge at Mukai Chowk and take the Krishna Chowk Marg expressway along the service road adjacent to Symbisis College to the stadium and parking lot.

c) Old Mumbai Pune Highway Spectator vehicles at Amanpass near Mamurdi Zakat Naka on Bangalore Highway via Somatne Phata, Central Chowk and Spectator vehicles coming by road. Entry from Shitladevi temple to Mamurdi village is being banned.

Alternate Routes – Vehicles on the said route should take a left turn from Shitladevi Mandir and follow the service road via Lekha Farm towards the stadium and parking lot.

2) The route for spectator vehicles coming from Pune is as follows:

a) From Pune Bangalore Highway, after passing Pavana Nadi Bridge, Hotel Santonsa, the vehicles should take a slow left turn from Kiwale Bridge and after 200 meters, take the service road on the left side of the dual carriageway to the stadium and parking lot.

b) Spectator vehicles coming from Nigdi, Hogging Bridge should take a right turn from Ravet Chowk, Bhondve Chowk, Mukai Chowk route to Krishna Chowk and take a left turn from the express highway to the stadium and parking lot via the service road.

The old Mumbai Pune highway from MCA Stadium via Sainathnagar is being used as a one-way traffic only. Access to the stadium through Sainathnagar is being banned.

Note – 1) All types of vehicles will be prohibited from going to Kanetkar Bangla Chowk via Central Chowk – Sainagar.

2) Spectators coming towards the ground and returning after the match will be obstructed by vehicles coming in the opposite direction.
