In the video, the jeweller is seen warmly asking the elderly couple where they are from, to which the man replies that they belong to the Mantha taluka in Jalna district. During the conversation, the shopkeeper also mentions a past misunderstanding involving a saleswoman from another store.
The elderly gentleman had come to buy a traditional necklace (mala) and a small bowl (vati) for his wife. The grandmother had saved over ₹1,100, and the grandfather had carefully wrapped some money in a cloth to bring along. Despite their willingness to pay, the jeweller initially tried to gift the jewellery without accepting any money, moved by their story and sincerity. However, the elderly couple insisted on paying something in return.
Eventually, the jeweller accepted a token amount of ₹20, stating he would treasure it. “With Pandurang’s blessings and your love, nothing is lacking,” the jeweller said in the video – a line that resonated deeply with viewers online.
