The excitement around Peddi has been building steadily. Not long ago, the makers unveiled Janhvi Kapoor’s first-look poster, introducing her as Achiyyamma — a character radiating power and confidence. The poster showcased her in two striking moments: one where she stands atop a jeep with folded hands raised high, and another where she exudes poise with her hand resting on her head.

About Peddi

Backed by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being produced on a grand canvas. With cinematography helmed by the celebrated R. Rathnavelu and editing by National Award-winner Navin Nooli, the film promises to be a visual spectacle perfectly in sync with Rahman’s mesmerizing score.

The film also boasts an ensemble cast featuring Kannada legend Shiva Rajkumar in a pivotal role, alongside Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in significant performances.

Earlier, the team made headlines for shooting a massive dance sequence with over 1,000 background dancers in Mysore. Directed and choreographed by Jani Master, the extravagant song was filmed on Vinayaka Chavithi — a day when most film shoots were on pause, proving the team’s dedication to delivering something extraordinary.

With Ram Charan leading the charge, A.R. Rahman’s music setting the mood, and Janhvi Kapoor adding her own spark, Peddi is shaping up to be one of the most awaited cinematic experiences of next year. The film is slated to hit theatres on March 27, and if ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ is anything to go by, audiences are in for a treat filled with rhythm, emotion, and pure visual splendor.
