Chitraswar –A Musical Show with Classical Bandishes in Film Music to be held on Nov 25

Pune, November 18: Music lovers can dive into heartfelt renditions during ‘Chitraswar ‘– a musical show with Classical Bandishes in film music along with Thumri Dadara and instrumental ensemble.

 Organized by ‘Prerana Music’ Organization in association with MIT World Peace University and Bank of Maharashtra, the event is set to take place on Saturday, 25 November at the Bal Shikshan Mandir Auditorium, Mayur Colony from 5 pm onwards.

Entry to this program is free and open to all on a first come first serve basis.

‘Chitraswar’ will include the performances of senior vocalist Vidushi Saniya Patankar of Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana, Viraj Joshi, grandson of Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi and Amar Oak, a renowned flautist of SaReGaMaPa and disciple of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia.

This music show will commence with the solo performance of Pt. Milind Date’s disciple, Anurag Joshi on Flute. The program will also witness Gwalior Gharana’s Pt. Amarendra Dhaneshwar’s semi classical music performance.

The artists will be accompanied by Prasad Joshi and Abhijit Bartakke on Tabla, Ruturaj Kore on Rhythm, Mihir Bhadkamkar on Keyboard and Pradnya Desai on Violin.
