The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the results of the Class 10 and 12 board exams on Monday morning. Notably, the board has decided to discontinue the practice of issuing merit lists from this year onwards, aiming to eliminate unhealthy competition among students.

Once again, girls have outperformed boys in both Class 10 and 12 board exams. The pass percentage for Class 10 stands at 99.47%, while it is 98.19% for Class 12.

The ICSE and ISC exams commenced on February 21 and were originally scheduled to conclude on April 3. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the exams extended until April 4. The Class 12 Chemistry paper, initially set for February 26, was postponed to March 21. Additionally, the Class 12 Psychology examination was rescheduled from May 27 to April 4.
