IIT Roorkee has announced the JEE Advanced 2026 results. A total of 56,880 candidates qualified the examination, with Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone securing All India Rank 1 by scoring 330 out of 360 marks.

The results of JEE Advanced 2026, one of India’s most competitive engineering entrance examinations, have been declared by IIT Roorkee, the organising institute for this year’s test.

According to official data, 56,880 candidates qualified the examination, including 10,107 female candidates. The results are now available on the official JEE Advanced website, where candidates can access their scorecards using their roll number, date of birth and registered mobile number.

Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone emerged as the All India Rank (AIR) 1 holder, securing an impressive 330 marks out of 360. The Bihar student had earlier secured AIR 6 in JEE Main 2026.

The IIT Delhi zone dominated the top positions this year. Kabir Chhillar secured AIR 2 with 329 marks, while Jatain Chahar secured AIR 3 with 319 marks. All three top rank holders belong to the IIT Delhi zone.

Among female candidates, Arohi Deshpande emerged as the female topper, marking a notable achievement in this year’s examination.

This year, 1,87,389 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2026, while 1,79,694 candidates appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 conducted on May 17. Paper 1 was held from 9 am to 12 pm, while Paper 2 took place from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The scorecard includes important details such as qualifying status, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained and category-wise cut-offs.

JEE Advanced serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Only candidates who qualify JEE Main and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria are allowed to appear for the examination.

With the results now announced, qualified candidates will move to the next stage of the admission process through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling, which facilitates admissions to IITs and other participating premier engineering institutions across the country.
