Pune: Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal To Present ‘Santavani’ - An Evening Of Devotional Music
Pune, 20th July 2026: Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal, Pune, a premier institution dedicated to Indian classical music, will host ‘Santavani’, a special concert of devotional music, on Friday, 24th July 2026 at 5:00 PM at Bharat Natya Mandir, Pune. Entry to the program is free. However, a few seats are reserved.
‘Santavani’ will bring together four eminent vocalists on one stage to present abhangs and devotional compositions by Maharashtra’s revered saints. It will feature artists including Viraj Joshi, Pt. Upendra Bhat, Savani Shende, and Pt. Shrinivas Joshi.
They will be accompanied by Pandurang Pawar (Tabla), Gambhir Maharaj (Pakhawaj), and Madhav Limaye (Harmonium), Anand Takalkar (Taal). The program will be compered by Anand Deshmukh.
The concert aims to celebrate the timeless spiritual and musical legacy of Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Tukaram, Sant Namdev, and Sant Eknath, offering audiences an evening steeped in bhakti rasa.
