Pune, 18 April 2025 – Conrad Hotels & Resorts has launched a new initiative titled The Art of Experiential Dining, celebrating heritage, culinary innovation, and immersive cultural experiences across Asia Pacific. This unique program transforms luxury dining into a sensory cultural journey that deeply connects guests to each destination through food.
The debut edition took place at Conrad Pune, featuring an exclusive preview in collaboration with noted food expert Anoothi Vishal and Conrad Pune’s Executive Chef, Pradeep Rao. The evening reimagined 19th-century Indian gastronomy, blending royal culinary influences and archival traditions into contemporary creations that reflect both heritage and the bold identity of the Conrad brand.
Signature dishes included Pulled Mutton Dhansak Raviolo, inspired by Pune’s Camp history, and the Peshwai Plate, which paid homage to the legacy of the Peshwas. Even the beloved Modak was reinvented to reflect Pune’s blend of tradition and modernity.
Candice D’Cruz, Vice President of Luxury Brands, Hilton Asia Pacific, remarked that the initiative is more than just a dining experience—it is a storytelling journey, designed to leave a lasting impression. The next city to host this cultural and culinary celebration will be Conrad Bengaluru.
Conrad Pune’s General Manager, Abhishek Sahai, noted that select dishes from the event will be available for a limited time at the hotel’s Al Di La and Zeera restaurants, allowing a broader audience to enjoy this one-of-a-kind menu.
To further enrich the experience, Conrad’s signature 1/3/5 program offers guests curated local encounters, including visits to Shaniwar Wada, food trails, Goda Masala workshops, and interactions with traditional brass artisans.
