Constro 2024 inaugurated at Moshi 

Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) Commissioner Rahul Mahiwal expressed that ‘Constro’ expo is adding to the reputation of Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune. Thanks to ‘Constro’, India has better facilities and technology than China and other countries.

As per information shared by Ramdas Jagtap, Deputy Collector, PMRDA, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has organized the Constro 2024 International Exhibition at the state-of-the-art International Exhibition Center (PIECC) in Moshi from January 4 to 7 2024. The exhibition was inaugurated by PMRDA Commissioner Rahul Mahiwal on Thursday.

Vijay Khorate, PCMC Additional Commissioner, Jayant Inamdar, Chairman of ‘Constro’, Naren Kothari, Chairman of Pune Construction Engineering and Research Foundation (PCERF), Shirish Kembhavi, Secretary, Sanjay Vaichal, etc were present.

Mahiwal further added that infrastructure facilities are being provided in the Pune metropolitan area. PMRDA’s various projects including ring road, river improvement, and Man-Shivajinagar Metro are in progress. The construction sector plays a significant role in this. Therefore, it is necessary to combine research, new technology, and working methods in the construction sector. The Constro exhibition is becoming a milestone for it.

Constro chairman Jayant Inamdar said that through Constro, work has been done to bring engineering students, professionals and industries under one roof. The latest machinery, materials, methods and technology in the construction industry are on display. The concept of this year’s exhibition is ‘Latest Method and Technology’.

Chairman of Pune Construction Engineering and Research Foundation (PCERF) Naren Kothari said that this is the 18th edition of Constro International Expo. This exhibition has been held in an area of 30 thousand square meters. PMRDA is the concept partner and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is the associate partner in the exhibition organized by PCERF.
