‘Construction World Person of the Year 2020’ award to Maha Metro’s Brijesh Dixit
Maha Metro’s Managing Director Dr Brijesh Dixit to receive the most prestigious ‘Construction World Person of The Year 2020’ award in Mumbai on October 16.
Benjamin Brin, managing director, head, Asia Pacific Construction, Project Management Institute, Vipul Rungta, managing director, chief executive officer, HDFC Capital Advisors, Pradeep Singh, former vice-chairman, IDFC Projects, Vijay Agarwal, executive director, Aquarius Capital, R K Narayan, CEO, All Cargo Logistics Park Pvt Ltd, Mohammad Ali Jana, chairman, IFADWPC, Maldives, Fareed Ahmed, divisional head, sales, Apollo Tyres were the jury members. Dr Dixit’s exemplary work of heading the Maha Metro’s Nagpur and Pune Project work has earned him this recognition.

In Nagpur, out of the four routes, on two routes metro has begun its operations (at present Metro services are on hold due to Covid19). The total distance of both the routes is 25 kms which was completed in 50 months. In Pune, the work for 15 kms viaduct work, 2 km underground tunnel work was completed in 36 months.
