Creamy Chocolate Cold Coffee at Home: Your Easy Café-Style Treat in 6 Steps
Nothing beats the rich, indulgent taste of a chilled chocolate cold coffee on a warm day. That smooth blend of coffee, chocolate, and creaminess often feels like something only cafés can perfect—but the good news is, you can recreate the same magic right in your kitchen. With a handful of everyday ingredients and a blender, this recipe brings you a luxurious, café-style experience without stepping out.
Ingredients
- ½ cup crushed chocolate
- 2 tsp instant coffee powder
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp warm water
- 2 cups whole full-fat milk
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 1 tbsp milk powder
- 2 scoops chocolate ice cream
Step 1
Start by preparing your serving glasses. Drizzle chocolate syrup along the inner sides and rim for that classic café-style presentation.
Step 2
Take a plate and spread chocolate shavings over it. Turn the glasses upside down and press their rims into the shavings so they stick well. Place the glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix the instant coffee powder, sugar, and warm water until the coffee dissolves completely.
Step 4
Add the milk, cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, milk powder, chocolate ice cream, and the prepared coffee mixture into a blender jar.
Step 5
Blend everything for about a minute until smooth and frothy. Pour the mixture into the chilled glasses and gently spoon some froth on top.
Step 6
Finish by topping each glass with an extra scoop of ice cream. Drizzle chocolate syrup and sprinkle some chocolate shavings for a rich, inviting look. Serve right away.
