Create vaccination centers in housing societies in Wanowrie
The recent approval given by the Central Government to allow people above 18 years to take Covid19 vaccination from May 1,2021 is a welcoming move. But seeing the long queues outside the present vaccination centers at present, is a worrying cause for many who are willing to get themselves vaccinated.
Sahil Kedari, president, OBC Cell, Pune City District Congress has written a letter to the Commissioner urging him to start a vaccination center in housing societies.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, he said, ‘Pune Municipal Corporation can hold vaccination facilities in townships / societies above 300 flats which will help in reducing the number of people at the current vaccination centers. This will also help in curbing unnecessary movement of people. ‘
