ZP Jalindar Nagar School earns ‘World’s Best School’ tag online for cutting-edge tech education, infrastructure and holistic learning

A government school in Pune, Maharashtra, has taken social media by storm after a video showcasing its extraordinary facilities and innovative teaching methods went viral. ZP Jalindar Nagar School, often referred to as the ‘World’s Best School’, is making headlines for teaching Class 3 students robotics, AI simulation, 3D printing and coding — facilities usually associated with elite private institutions.

The video, first shared on Reddit by a vlogger, opens with young children taking a nap during school hours — a routine practice here. What follows is a glimpse into an advanced learning environment: students are seen using 3D printers, learning AI-powered robotics on RoboDK software, and operating voice-controlled robots built by their classmates.

One of the most surprising moments in the clip comes when a Class 3 student confidently lists her skills — “Coding, Art and Craft, Jewellery and Brain Gym.” Students are also introduced to multi-language learning and ambidextrous writing.

Ware Guruji, who runs the school, says his vision goes far beyond one institution.
“We have to go beyond just one school. Though this is the number one school in the world, one school cannot admit all students. Now we have to scale this and build a new system to replace the current one,” he said.

The school’s unique model includes world-class equipment, hands-on learning, and a compulsory post-lunch nap for students — a combination of academic innovation and child-friendly routines rarely seen in government institutions.

Social media users flooded the comments with praise, awe and curiosity.
“Can’t believe instead of AI I am probably going to be replaced by a 14-year-old,” one user wrote. Another said, “As an adult, I would like to redo my schooling. When will admissions be open?” Many described it as a refreshing break from rote learning.

While some expressed concerns about feasibility on a national scale, most viewers hailed it as a model for future education.
“Hope such schools become the norm,” a comment read.

Stories like this underline a broader shift in education — from traditional theory-based learning to practical, skills-driven classrooms.
