As per the information received, the meeting also addressed the pending demands of Hadapsar’s theatre, Sasanenagar underpass, various problems in ward numbers 21 to 24 and 25, overall traffic congestion, drinking water problems, and water supply schemes.

While talking to Pune Pulse, Chetan Tupe, NCP, MLA, added, ”Due to heavy traffic congestion on Hadapsar Road, the problem cannot be solved by the metro line alone but also requires an elevated road. A preliminary presentation of the Hadapsar line of the Pune Metro was made by the Metro, and it was suggested that comprehensive mobility should be considered after evaluating the next 25 years while preparing the DPR of the Metro. The issue of the proposed Metro work in Hadapsar constituency was raised in the Assembly, and the proposal for the Swargate to Loni Kalbhor Metro was approved under the initiative of former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has initiated the preparation of a DPR for the metro line from Swargate to Hadapsar and further to Loni Kalbhor. It was suggested that the metro line on the Pune-Solapur highway should be made two-story on the lines of the Nagpur Metro to ensure smooth flow of traffic on national roads and state highways without putting pressure on the traffic system. A similar letter has been sent to the Maha Metro and the state government. The two-storey line will ease traffic in the Hadapsar area. Pillars of the metro bridge are occupying a lot of space.”
