Divisional Commissioner’s office in Pune to process 100 kgs waste through modular biogas project
Divisional Commissioner’s office in Pune took green steps and installed a 10,000 liter capacity of modular biogas plant in its premises. This plant will process over 100 kgs of waste everyday. The project was inaugurated by Saurabh Rao, divisional commissioner, Pune, Deputy Commissioner Varsha Laddha Untwal, Nayana Bondarde, Ramchandra Shinde, Rahul Sakore and assistant commissioner Poonam Mehta.
“This project will process waste generated from the cafeteria located within the premises. The project was initiated with the help of Divisional Commissioner’s office, Kashtakari Panchayat, Vayu Company and such project should be initiated at Universities, ZP office, Collector office.and many other government offices,” added Rao.
